Family Life Center Gym
The simplicity of a meal of soup and bread reminds us to give thanks for the gifts God has given us.
We ask you to give what you would have spent eating out at a restaurant, sacrificing a meal to offer it to those who don't have a meal. This is a fantastic way to show your children what Lent is all about.
This recurring event offers an opportunity for the members of our faith community to deepen and grow in relationship with God and one another as well as help our local charities.
All are welcome. Join us Thursdays in Lent for this tasty tradiiton of soup, fellowship and prayer.
See you in the Family Life Center Gym Thursdays at 5:30 pm starting February 26th.
March 19th , St Joseph Altar
Please join the parish on Thursday, March 19, at 5:30 PM in the gym for a special event. We will be hosting a St. Joseph Altar along with our Lenten Soup Night. This altar honors St. Joseph, the patron saint of Sicily, for his intercessions in ending terrible famines and plagues. If you would like to contribute by bringing a dessert, please contact Emily at (225) 603-8845. Everyone in the parish is invited!
